I had a meeting today with an old collaborator, Alessandro Bertero. So excited for him to start up his own lab at the University of Turin in Italy! With any luck, we can soon have a CRISPR-based system in hiPSCs that will allow us to differentiate stem cells into cardiomyocytes using CRISPRa/i tools.
